Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simonei confirmed that Girona was one of the most damaging teams in the Primera Liga after a 2-2 draw at Monteleve.
"We certainly will not have to repeat what we did in the first round against Girona," said Simeone.
The coach explained that his team's focus on the next game against Girona in Allega, although he is waiting for a decisive match next Tuesday, against Sevilla, in the quarterfinals of the King's Cup final.
"Girona is more important than Sevilla," he said, expressing his confidence in winning tomorrow, in order to continue the competition for the league title, where the team occupies second place, nine points from leaders Barcelona.
